Hmm .. how long has it been since the last long weekend? Well, It's here now and me so happy. URESHIIIIIIIIIIIIII kalo kata org Jepang .. hehehe .. Been really tired lately at work, need some rest, YES, Rest .. in my own room with computer on, reading books, or watching tv or new ANIME would be very ideal .. heheeh ..
This saturday there is the passion of the Christ QnA session at pemuda. Inti has worked really hard in preparing this... Me Just pray to God that He will work tomorrow, and being confident in His Word which has the power to save people ... *Father, I Surrender everything yah* ...
After pemuda, cannot join the fellowship dinner as I've been invited to dinner by S to S's place. I Wonder what's the special occassion, still not sure, but I guess I'll just come... In the morning, I'll play basketball at unigym with a couple of hongkies and indos .. Should be pretty good .. It's been really good for the past two weeks .. met some new friends and who knows what can happen? new opportunity for the gospel? hehehe .. you never know ...
Why is it so hard yah to talk to people about the gospel? Even to our christian friends? It's suppose to be a good news, which we should be excited upon, just like having a NEW car or a NEW girlfriend, or a NEW computer or a NEW baby .. It's suppose to be EXCITING stuff looh .. but hey, it's not so exciting. It's maybe because most people that we meet everyday might not want to hear it .. people might get offended .. We don't usually like to offend people ... Or they have their own beliefs ... Or other thing like "What right do we have to say that their belief is wrong?" and so on.
Paul said: "I am not ashamed of the gospel, It's the POWER of God that SAVES all those who believe..
We might look foolish (I hate to look like foolish in front of other people btw), we might not win the respect of men, we might break friendships, others might look down on us, our family might not like us, and so many other things, YET in all those things the bible says, we are actually more than conquerers through Him who loves us. *Be strong di* ..
Oh well, on Sunday it will be even busier .. Have night service pelayanan .. in the morning there might be retreat meeting .. waaaaa .. so busy so busy ...
On Monday, Yoppie invited me and other friends for lunch BBQ at rockdale .. It should be a good time to catch up with people .. the food is guaranteed Yoppie said .. hahahaha .. can't wait until Monday .... *Awasss kalo ga enak* .. :P
Hmm .. I think that's enough for now!! I will update this blog with what happen tomorrow and sunday and monday ... until then, be Joyful always!!

Being pushy
I was being a bit pushy to someone today. Not only it made me feel bad, but it made me think about something. When should you push someone and when should you restrain yourself from doing it? Or should we do it AT ALL?
Usually I don't like pushing people around. I would rather be in peace with him/her. hehehe ... That's built in my character which can be bad sometimes. I sometimes am very reluctant to be in conflict with people or tell people on what to do even though It is something that needs to be done. Some people told me that there are some occassions where you really need to be a little bit over the edge and really push if you really believe that there is a benefit in doing so.
Let me give an example to better illustrate this. There is a child who is reluctant to do just anything. He is very talented in music and his parents could see that talent in him. He could be a great musicians if only he wants to start practicing his music talent. The problem is, as I said before, this child is unwilling to do that. What should you do as parents? You know that this will bring great benefit for him later on in his life. Will you FORCE the child? If you force him to do it, there's a chance that he will thank you later on for that. If you don't force him, he might end up wasting his talents. As parents you might try many ways of trying to convince your child, including giving your son "pengertian" in the hope that he might understand your thoughts and insights. You have tried to do it patiently over a period of time. But yeah, it doesn't seem to work at all.
So in the example above, how should you act as the child's parents? How can you be wise to judge the difference between the two? Push/Force your child to do it, or let him do what he wants to do, which might NOT be the right thing to do. Afterall, what you really want as parents(this is what I want anyway) is to win the child's HEART (in this case, the child is willing to practice his music talent without any hesitant) .. This is the most ideal thing that the parent could ever wish kan? hehehe ..
Another question: Does God ever "PUSH" us in doing something? Remember Jonah?
Hahahah .. anyway, enough of confusion already.

Sharing room
Today, I had a little feeling ga enak to my brother Jun. The problem started after I arrived home from work today, to discover that my bedroom is filled with Jun's friends (about 5 of them) were in my bedroom, watching naruto movie in my computer. I was a little tired at that time and I wanted to get some rest, or sitting in front of my computer or just having a relaxed time. Having found Jun's friends in my room made me a little ANGRY to be honest.
I thought that he should know the code of sharing room with someone. I thought that it was inappropriate for him to do such thing. I thought that he should realize that I was tired today and never to bring his friends sleeping on my bed. I came up with all this reasons trying to JUSTIFY my action and anger.
I actually went out of the house, trying not to show my anger infront of Jun's friends. I went straight to Hans' place today. I thought maybe I can have some rest at Hans' place and have a chit chat with either Ryan, Jerry or Hans. On the bus, I remembered about the preaching last Sunday. It was about loving your enemy. Hey, I might have all these VALID reasons to justify that I'm right. Jun might have his own. I realized on the bus that I need to forgive him and just be frank with him on how I feel. This is my brother I'm talking about, one of the closest person to me in the whole world. If I cannot love him, I cannot really love my enemies. Decided to remove my anger, slowly but surely with God's help I believe I was able to do that.
After spending some times at Hans' place with Ryan's bible study group, *Not really joining the bible study though*, taught hans how to play Meteor Garden song (Qing Fei De Yi) in guitar, read some comic books and watched Hans do some chinese character writing in his computer, I went home and told my brother how I felt at that time. Tried to do it gently, not to hurt him or anything. I explained to him everything and tried to make it right with him. Fiuhhhh ... ^^
One thing that might happen is that he might move to vic bas' room as Vic bas has found a new place in Maroubra ... Well, we'll see what happen in the next couple of days. I think it's a good idea for adults to have a single room that belongs to themselves. I don't mind sharing room with Jun, coz it's cheaper, but he might need some space for himself to study, invite his friends over, and so on. So we'll see what he'll decide ..
Don't know who's right or wrong in this incident, but the most important lesson that I've learnt today is to be OPEN to people who are close to me and to learn to FORGIVE and LOVE them, not just by words, but by my action as well.
**Love is patient, Love is kind ... bla bla bla ... *** DO IT!!

I spent the whole day with Kevin *thanks Kev, really grateful for your support and help* making a GREAT presentation for next week's passion of the Christ session at pemuda *thank God* .. But yeah, really pray for next week so that people who turn up will have their questions answered by GOD Himself, and go home changed from enemies of God to His child.
Just wanna rest now after being full on for the whole day today.. Hahahahah ... Swimming swimming in my own pulau kapuk ..

Pemuda
Had Pemuda fellowship at church today. I am always excited at meeting friends whom I rarely meet during week days. Met Franky, Edwin (forgot that you are suppose to give announcement for retreat *hahahaha*), Triana, Christine, Andy (dah lama banget ga ketemu, katanya ada 3 weeks intensive class), Hatta, Cynthia, Anna (dah lama juga, katanya kerja di bakers delight), and many others. You can see that I'm getting excited from my behaviour .. If I laugh very loud, that usually means that I am in a happy and iseng mood. That's just me ... When I'm in this mood, I like to tease people and make people laugh as well .. Had to restrain myself not to overdo it .. heheheh ..
Funny, In pemuda we can find people with many diverse personality. So many diverse personality. Maybe itu cocok kali ya ama what Paul said, Even though, we are many but we are one body in Christ. We are the CHURCH of Christ. It's good in a sense that we can learn from one another and being patient with one another juga sometimes.
Tadi baru kepikiran aja what is it that I would REALLY REALLY like to see happening in youth fellowship .. It's like what do I picture the fellowship in the end (of my period as pemuda leader or until God come again maybe*hehehe*) .. What I'd really like to see is that ALL Pemuda individually and as a group tuh bisa jadi BLESSING .. Diperlengkapi to become a blessing .... Blessing means being Christ' witness wherever kita ada, di indo kek, di sydney kek, di amrik kek, di kutub utara kek, dimana aja deh. I really want to see them and ME, show Christ in our lives, to our parents, bros and sis, friends, workmates. While doing that, we encourage one another kalo ada yg lagi jatuh dibantuin, di encourage.. Every week we receive blessing from God's Word and bisa meneruskan that blessing to other people as well. Christ ordered his disciples to become His witnesses before Dia go up to heaven and I think it's something yg really important. Yah ... begitulah ... ^^ ...
Had a good meeting with INTI today. Now we try to meet every two weeks to pray for one another and pemuda. We asked how everyone's goin and we discussed the latest issue in Youth. Everyone's so busy with life .. Ryan is getting ready for going back to indo for good *hiks*, Hanvy is busy with nyari kerja (heard she had interview with st george), Monnie (Life full of assignment, presentation and assingment, but she will finish everything by next week and just wait for graduation .. :) ), Devi(Sibuk kerja, heard she got a new responsibility at her workplace, congrats dev), and Dave is busy with his PHD .. Overall it was a really good meeting, it was short but very encouraging to see all of them in the same ministry .. really glad that I can serve with them in Pemuda ...
Overall today's pemuda was good .. I felt a bit moved when SDG group prayed together. We sang "I surrender all" .. After that we prayed for many things and I was really glad that we did that ... Really encouraged by it .. prayer is a BIG BIG thing and we shouldn't forget to do it in the ministry ... Some people said it's the NAFAS nya gereja .. *Berdoalah senantiasa* .. Let your life itself be an offering of prayer to Him .. I was also encouraged by Oscar's and San2 testimony. I can see that these two bro and sis of mine love to do the RIGHT thing for the Lord. They are not perfect, just like me, but I believe that by His grace, God can use them to bring blessing to other people, to bring Jesus himself to others .. I pray that God will keep working in their lives and He WILL ..
Akhir kata, hehehe, yuk yuk let us giat selalu dalam pekerjaan Tuhan, coz we know it's not sia2 gitu loh ...

Cold Yet a Warm Dinner
Had an invitation from Andreas and Hanny for dinner last Friday. It was very nice of them to be willing to share meal. They basically want to talk to friends whom they rarely see in the past couple of months. *I should do it too later when I have a wife kaleee* hahahah ... anyway ..
The ones attending the dinner were mainly old friends .. Me, Ryan, Aldo, Rita, Oscar, and Hans. Jimbo, Jenny and Freddy couldn't make it even though they are the ones that we rarely see loh..But yeah, it was a great dinner. We talked and talked and talked and talked .... until 12 PM ... can u imagine ? from 8 - 12 ... Hahahha .. I was really really tired after 10.It's funny sometimes that people usually ask me when i'm a quiet mode, maybe it's because i usually talk much eh .. hehehhe .. I was a bit quiet during the conversation, but not too quiet loh. Ryan and Andreas asked me what happened .. *very nice of them*, even though nothing wrong or bad actually happened to me ..
Usually if I keep quiet is because i'm tired *after 9PM*. Also if i have a problem that I need to think about, or usually if I make mistake to other people as well, I always think about it .. ga tenang until I make it right again. Don't like making mistake to others .. ^^
Oh another reason why I didn't talk much during dinner is because of the alcohol. We drank mango alcohol ... the same one that I had in my previous gathering at Ferry's place. Wah .. that dring really made my head quite heavy .. parah parah ... so that's why I was doing listening all the time ... :)
Overall the dinner was great. We talked about many things, from tax return to plan for the future, mortgage, rich friends in indo, hans singapore friends, F4 nya Indonesia (andreas friends), high school memory, top 5 girl in IPC, my target girl and hans', and many other things .. although for personal questions, no one really opened up sih .. hehehe .. too shy I guess in front that many people ...
The food that we ate *Thanks hanny* were sayur asem (Indonesian soup with corn and vegies), grilled chicken wing, and sambal trasi (indonesian chilli sauce, must try one this one .. hehehe) and lalap (raw vegies to be served with sambal trasi) .. very nice very nice...*lucky Andreas* hehehe... really love it .. bring back old memory in indo before ... In the end, Rita helped hanny washing up .. very nice .. *thanks Rit* .. :)
That's all about the dinner. Eventhough the temperature inside hanny and andreas' house was a bit cold (some people wear ugg boot and shoes), but it was VERY warm dinner. Yah .. xie2 again for the hospitality and great fellowship yah .. ^^

Be strong
Feel a bit sad today knowing some of my friends are having problems that seem to affect them badly..I myself am not free of problems.I have lots of them, lots to pray for, lots to work upon.
When I think about it, sometimes I'd like to have a life free of problems. *That is life wif God in heaven I guess*hehehe...No problem wif family, friends, food, clothes, relationship and so on ... But yeah I guess that's not quite what you call a LIFE isn't it? Life will be meaningless if we only have happy times without sad times. It's like a one-sided coin .. Won't be complete..One good illustration is exam/test at school/uni. Even though we don't like having exam, somehow we realize that we need it to prove ourselves to a certain degree of higher level in our education. Once we pass the exam, then we can move to the next level in our grades. So is LIFE. I guess we need exam, we need problems to make us stronger. It is important to pay attention on how we react to problems, how we look at our problems.
I believe that in whatever our circumstances is, no matter how bad it is (can be really bad u know, like what happen to Jews in Nazi camp or what happen in Ambon, Bali bomb, Sept 11), God is in control, and He promised that He will be with us in those times as well in happy times. No matter you feel Him or not HE IS THERE kok. There is God's goodness in every situation we are in.He has a bigger plan that He will accomplish in the end not just for our personal lives but to this world as a whole.
So friends, whatever situations u r in at the moment, be STRONG in the Lord and in His mighty power yaa.
**Lord, teach us to look at our problems NOT as something bigger than You**

2 bible studies
Yesterday I had 2 bible studies .. The first one was the one in North Sydney (Bible study for workers) and the second one is my youth bible study group. The first one went pretty alright I guess, though I didn't pay attention much to what the speaker said .. *ngaku neh* but it's encouraging to see many christian workers at North Sydney .. Maybe me and hans and tris and erwin can get to know them betta next week .. might try to talk to people next week if possible ...
As in my youth bs, it went alright i guess ... at first everyone was so tired .. They were so quiet .. kayaknya kecapean banget ... They worked and study the whole day. yeah, I guess it's understandable .. It's hard to get them excited about what we learn which is from the book of Acts .. but I realize that in bible study is not about the wisdom of man but what God wants us to hear as a group ... Towards the end of the bible study we discussed about the meaning of "Full of the Spirit", since we are learning from the book of Acts. What does it mean? Should every Christian is filled with the Spirit? Or are we already filled with the Holy SPirit since we became Christian? How should we live by the Spirit and not by flesh? How about miracles? Do we believe in miracles .. It was a VERY interesting discussion last nite .. I noticed that some of my bible study members are quite mature in their thinking already, and some are still growing ... But they were all excited last nite .. We spent about 1/2 hour discussing about this and we came up with what you called a sort of conclusion:
When we became a Christian we have the Holy Spirit within us fully, not half and not 3/4. The term Full of the Spirit refers to live guided by the Spirit of God, live daily producing the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5. YES, every Christian should be full with the Holy Spirit, they must choose in their daily struggle for His guidance, His advice and His comfort in facing problems and difficulties. We are also not against those that are speaking in tounge, but definitely not to do it at church unless there is an interpreter ... We agreed that it's one of the gift of the Holy Spirit, and if we or our friends can speak in tounge, it's fine but it's not necessary nor we want to pursue that. Instead we wanna live day by day under Spirit's guidance.
We also talked about other stuffs like, is it possible for the Spirit to speak to us personally and not from reading the bible? What I mean is that the Holy Spirit speaks to us something that is inline to what the bible says, but it's specific to our current situation, for example in Acts, the Spirit told Peter to go to Cornelius place to preach the gospel .. and many things .. heheheh .. In the end it was pretty interesting discussion .. I encouraged them to really read the bible as it is .. go back to the basic and really do it in our lives once we know one truth ... Oh well .. pray that my youth bs can become a true blessing to other people ...

My first ever blog
Hi hi hi ..
Since this is my first blog evaaa, I'm going to mark it with celebration. HIPPP HIPPP HORAYYYY ...
Well, what should I start with? I don't really know actually ... hehehe..
Let me start with telling how my day went ... Today, nothing really spectacular happened .. I worked as usual in a small I.T company called Holocentric up in North Sydney .. One interesting thing that happened today was we did personality test in the company in order to get to know everyone better ... After answering some personality questions, it turned out that I'm a INFJ (Introvert, Intuitive, Feelings and Judgement) person .. If you want to find out more about what that is, you can go to the following URL: http://www.typelogic.com/infj.html .. Oh well, at least I got to know some of my friends in the workplace better today ... ^^ ..
Feeling a bit down regarding my ministry at Pmd today .. I feel as though I am not doing enough .. not doing a good job ... I guess it's a bit hard to balance between family, work(s), friends and ministry ... I knew that the truth is God is looking at our faithfulness in serving Him .. That's ALL that matters ... I also knew that God the Father through Jesus love me so much and everything that happen to me, It will bring good in the end .. Good in a sense that I may become more and more like Jesus himself, my Lord and best friend ... Even though I knew the truth, funny enough I was still feeling down .. hehehe ... Maybe there is an "F"eeling in my personality type, I don't know ... *learning to be strong here* heheheh ... Or maybe it's just me that do not make use of my time wisely .. But yeah, I was a bit down today ... But thank God that I have brothers and sisters in Christ ... After chatting to one of my friend, I was reminded for the truth that I shouldn't feel that way and just be faithful in my ministry ... Really Thank God for that. Also remembered one of my favorite verse since the old days (God knows when):
Joshua 1:7 = Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.
I love this verse as I really want to become stronger day by day .. Be strong in the Lord and in His Grace, not by my own strength ..
Today, Jun my little brother had sakit maag .. Setelah dikasih obat dia dah bisa tidur .. he told me that he only had a meat pie from morning until late at night .. gile .. kasian banget .. told him not to do that again and eat pada waktunya
Btw today is Jenny and Jeremy's Birthday .. hohoho ... Jenny is my big sister and Jeremy is my little bro in Christ (still 14 hehehe) ... Happy Bday to both of u .. my prayer is with u always ...
